Hi, I’m Vini.
UX/Product Designer for complex, accessible systems.
I design for places where complexity is the norm and mistakes are expensive. I also write front-end code, which shortens the road from Figma to production quite a bit.

A design system that started with accessibility
A small UX team, dozens of systems and no shared foundation. I led the creation of a design system with one rule from day one, nothing ships without accessibility, and today I curate it.

Coca-Cola Smart Fridge
The app that unlocked the fridge kept crashing itself. I redesigned the purchase flow, we added Pix and digital wallets, and the crashes all but disappeared.

Partner registration platform
Becoming a Coca-Cola retailer took paperwork, spreadsheets and weeks of waiting. I designed the platform that moved it online, with real-time status for store owners and sales reps.

This portfolio
My old portfolio sold Webflow websites and stopped in 2023. I rebuilt everything, from positioning to code, and the site itself became proof of what I say I do.

How I work
Process before pixels
Before drawing a screen, I map the whole process: rules, exceptions, who approves what. Once the flow is clear, the interface gets simple.
Accessible from the first draft
Contrast, focus order, reading order and error messages go into the first wireframe. Fixing them later costs everyone more.
Close to the code
I prototype in code when Figma isn’t enough and review the implementation with the developers. Less noise in handoff, less rework.

Itamaraty, via G4F · UX Design Specialist
One of four UX designers at Itamaraty, I own about three of the ministry’s systems, used by citizens and diplomats around the world, with WCAG 2.2 as the bar. I led the team’s Material UI-based design system: built it hands-on in Figma with AI agents, aligned it with the developers and delivered it to the client. Today I’m its curator, maintaining and testing it, and my systems are the first to adopt it.
2022 - 2023
Brasal (Coca-Cola) · UX Designer
I owned UX end to end at the largest Coca-Cola bottler in central Brazil. I redesigned the Smart Fridge app, took retailer registration from paper to a digital platform, and built the UI style guide the team used across web, Android and iOS, all within Coca-Cola’s global guidelines.
2021 - 2022
Instabuy · UX Designer
I designed both sides of a supermarket e-commerce SaaS: the back office where store owners manage products, orders and deliveries, and the shopping experience of their customers. I also led the redesign of the company website.

Kind words
I’m always impressed by his ability to deeply understand the problem and the context, always asking very relevant, on-point questions. […] Any company would be lucky to have a professional like Vini.
Leticia MirandaProduct Owner, BrasalTranslated from Portuguese Vini is curious in the best sense of the word! He works to understand the root of problems and the why behind things, always raising relevant, on-point questions and running the processes he’s part of very well, especially user testing. He always gets users involved and at ease, and that’s how he draws out great information.
